Sunday Adventures

Last Sunday, my family and I decided to go for a drive, with the intention of heading towards the new forest and not much else, we set off.

We ended up a place called Buckler's Hard, a natural port and Maritime Museum. It didn't take us very long to walk the whole thing; however, we skipped out on doing the woodland walk so maybe that would have taken us a longer time. The history of Buckler's Hard is extremely interesting (especially if you're a history nerd like me) and has bits of information that everyone can enjoy. From the history of the smugglers to the remains of the artifacts re-discovered after the sinking of the SS. Persia.

To summarize, It was a interesting trip but I would not call it a day trip unless you bring a picnic etc. and really milk what the sight has to offer.
